Volkert Serves

A Legacy of Giving

At Volkert, service goes beyond the projects we deliver. It is part of who we are. For 100 years, we have believed that strong infrastructure begins with strong communities. That is why we invest our time, energy, and resources into causes that make a difference. Our employees volunteer, donate essential items, and support programs that improve lives. Across our offices, we promote STEM education, raise funds for health care providers, collect gifts for holiday celebrations, send care packages to military personnel, support blood drives, and more.

100 Acts of Service

To celebrate our 100th anniversary, Volkert launched 100 Acts of Service, a company-wide initiative uniting employees to give back to the communities we serve. Building on our long-standing commitment to community involvement, employees volunteer with nonprofits, support schools, food banks, and environmental programs, making a real difference where they live and work. More than a centennial celebration, this initiative reflects our values and our belief that strong infrastructure starts with strong communities.

we’ve supported

Having smaller offices creates a family atmosphere that encourages greater connection to the community. We lean a lot on our office leaders to be the hands and feet of community service. That’s a core value for us. In community service, we’ve got no problem with fundraising, but we want people to have experiences and actually perform community service beyond just financial backing.
