Volkert recently acquired Rhutasel & Associates (Rhutasel), expanding its civil engineering services in the state of Illinois.
“Adding Rhutasel’s expertise strengthens our survey, transportation, and wastewater service offerings,” says CEO David A. Allsbrook. “This acquisition will help grow our presence in the state of Illinois.”
Rhutasel began its professional practice in 1969 and has grown to serve a large client portfolio, including private entities and local and state governments in Southern Illinois.
“It is exciting for us to add this talented staff and new location,” says regional vice president Jason Watters. “These additional resources will allow us to better serve the Illinois Department of Transportation and local government clients.”
Rhutasel’s headquarters—4 Industrial Drive, Freeburg, IL 62243—is now operating as a Volkert office. Volkert also has Illinois offices in Collinsville and Springfield.
