Collecting accurate survey data is the starting point for engineering design. At Volkert, surveying has been an integral component of the firm’s practice since its founding. Licensed professional, in-house surveying capabilities afford our clients the benefit of seamless service on projects requiring multiple disciplines. 

Volkert’s survey practice covers complete control and design survey, as well as static and mobile terrestrial lidar (laser scanning) services. In addition, the practice covers right of way control surveys; right of way mapping for new corridors; survey for bridge, intersection, and safety improvements; and survey for design-build projects.
